Every month we share a newsletter aimed at providing industry perspective, trends and information. This month, I want to shift gears and share a behind the scenes glimpse into the relationships that make the firm and our mission possible.

Take a tour of our website, and let us know what insight you’d like us to cover in our 2020 newsletters.
As President of Guardian Mineral Management & Consulting, I set out to build a firm that was different, a firm that didn’t just tout transparency and accessibility—but delivered it in spades. Each year we build on that foundation and this year, we launched a new website and enhanced the value of our deliverables. We wanted our transparency and accessibility to shine through digitally, so we also published our client commitments outlining exactly where we hang our hat. We believe being transparent about how we operate is critical to fostering and maintaining trust. The oil and gas industry is clouded with confusion, corroded by ‘characters’ and rapidly evolving, so we wanted to do our part to infuse more transparency and owner advocacy. Within a few months, our client commitments page became one of our most visited pages, so thank you for showing your support .
SO WHAT’S AT THE TOP OF MY MOST THANKFUL LIST THIS YEAR?
There are many ‘things’ to be thankful for this year—but none hold a candle to the people who have supported me and contributed to Guardian Mineral Management’s mission.

Meet the bright, energetic trio of Frazier sisters.
THE FRAZIER FAMILY
There’s something indescribably special about watching my daughters grow up. If you’ve stopped by the Guardian booth at a TIPRO or NARO conference this year, you’ve probably seen their photo, but we know some of you haven’t had the opportunity— so meet my incredible trio of daughters. A supportive, loving family is an indescribable blessing, and they provide inspiration to continue investing to make our community and world a better place.
THE GUARDIAN MINERAL MANAGEMENT TEAM
It’s no small feat to find professionals who possess exceptional insight and are passionate about delivering a truly client-centric experience. This year we grew and added new expertise to our ranks to compliment our veterans, Daniel Schiff, our senior mineral manager, and Marcia Newton, our office manager.
Our expanded team includes, Jake Brown, a mineral manager, who will soon be celebrating a major milestone by becoming a Certified Professional Landman (CPL). We operate in a data-rich and intelligence-poor environment, so we welcomed Cullen P Glasener as our Head of Finance & Associated Accounting and Sheena Ewing as a land analyst.
Together our team leverages data analytics to slice through large portfolios, disparate data sources and produce intelligence reports. It’s exactly the type of innovation and transparency we set out to bring to the industry.
THE OWNERS WE SERVE
Owners have choices—lots of choices—and we’re honored to be the firm of choice and advisors they trust. Many owners think their options for suitable advisors are limited, so they’re left contemplating the differentiators and trying to find their fit. It’s why we love picking up the phone, meeting someone new and discovering they were referred to us by a client.
Our offices will be closed Wednesday, November 27 and reopen on Monday, December 2 to enable our team to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. If the end of the year has you considering your mineral rights and management strategy, we’d welcome the opportunity to talk. Our website is always open to explorers, and I’d like to encourage you to reach out and take advantage of the complimentary first meeting we offer to owners.
Wishing you a joy-filled Thanksgiving!
