 Let’s Talk About Recovery

While the projections and analysis predict a two-year recovery window, it’s important to note that projections are uncertain. They do not account for legislation or policy shifts. Think two-years is a little too rosy? John Staub, Senior Advisor for Energy Analysis gave this reminder:

It’s a balancing act. The Market is more resilient than it gets credit for. For example, demand for passenger air travel declined significantly in 2020, which lowered demand for jet fuel. The refinery sector shifted excess jet fuel production into diesel for the trucking industry.”
