Oklahoma Leadership in Land & Mineral Management

Guardian Mineral Management is proud to highlight the leadership of Jared Boehs, CPL, CMM, whose career has been fully dedicated to land and mineral management across Oklahoma and beyond.

Jared earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Finance from Oklahoma State University in 2004. Immediately following graduation, he began his career as a field landman, building a foundation grounded in title research, lease negotiation, and direct landowner engagement.

Over the past two decades, Jared has:

  • Owned and operated a lease brokerage firm
Served as Land Manager for an independent operator overseeing drilling and mineral management across multiple states
  • Founded and led Cutter Energy, a mineral and land management firm serving mineral owners and landowners
  • Co-founded HyQ Technologies, focused on produced water recycling and beneficial re-use

In 2023, Jared joined Guardian Mineral Management in a leadership capacity, continuing his work serving mineral owners with strategic oversight, operational expertise, and disciplined asset management.

Innovation in Produced Water Recycling

From 2015 forward, Jared was actively involved in advancing produced water recycling initiatives in Oklahoma and the Permian Basin. His operations focused on converting produced water into:

  • Concentrated brine
  • Distilled water suitable for beneficial reuse

These operations delivered three critical benefits:

  1. Reduced produced water disposal volumes
  2. Minimized freshwater usage in oil & gas operations
  3. Created a new clean water resource

Additionally, concentrated brine by-products could be supplied for further extraction of lithium, iodine, and other valuable elements — demonstrating forward-thinking resource management.

Industry Credentials & Service

Jared holds two of the most respected credentials in the land profession:

  • Certified Professional Landman (CPL)
  • Certified Mineral Manager (CMM)

He is an active member of:

  • American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL)
  • Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen (OCAPL)
  • National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO)

He is a past President of OK-NARO, currently serves on the OK-NARO Board, acts as Secretary for the Royalty Owners Coalition of Oklahoma (ROCO), and serves as a Director for Farmers Royalty Company.

His consistent industry involvement reflects his long-standing commitment to mineral owner advocacy and responsible development.

Oklahoma Roots. Long-Term Perspective.

A native of Northwest Oklahoma, Jared maintains deep agricultural and small-town ties. He and his wife Carissa reside in Fairview, Oklahoma, where they operate a cow/calf ranching operation with their family while raising their two sons.

His background in agriculture, land stewardship, and energy operations uniquely positions him to understand the generational impact of mineral ownership.

A Client-Focused Approach

Jared’s leadership philosophy is grounded in:

  • Transparency
  • Regulatory discipline
  • Strategic mineral oversight
  • Long-term asset protection

His experience across brokerage, operations, recycling innovation, and mineral management allows him to evaluate assets comprehensively — not transactionally.
